Terms and Conditions for Learning Quests™

Learning Quests™ is a program created by Learning Re-Engineered, a DBA of AKology LLC, based in Virginia, USA. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Learning Quests™ website, products, and services. By using this site, you agree to the following terms.

1. Who Can Use Learning Quests™

Learning Quests™ is designed for families, homeschoolers, and educators. While children are the end users of many of our interactive quests and activities, only parents, guardians, or educators ("Responsible Adults") may create accounts or submit purchases.

If you're under 18, ask a parent or guardian to help you register. You may not create an account on your own.

2. Parent & Guardian Responsibility

As a Responsible Adult, you agree to:
▪️ Create and manage accounts for your children or students
▪️ Monitor your child’s use of the platform and content
▪️ Help your child avoid sharing personal identifying information (name, address, school, etc.)
▪️ Only allow usernames and submissions that protect your child's identity
▪️ Request deletion or edits of any content that needs to be removed

You understand that Learning Quests is not liable for content made public at your discretion. We encourage adults to guide children away from sharing sensitive information and to help them use the platform safely and responsibly.

3. Memberships and Subscriptions

Learning Quests™ offers both free and paid membership tiers. Subscriptions may include digital downloads, printable guides, game access, and participation in live events.

Your membership begins when payment is processed and will renew automatically unless you cancel before your next billing date. We do not offer refunds for unused time, accidental purchases, or mid-cycle cancellations.

4. Physical & Digital Product Purchases

You may also purchase individual products. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless an item is defective or damaged during shipping. Digital downloads are non-refundable.

5. Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. Please read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you encounter an issue, contact us at support@learning-quests.com, and we’ll do our best to resolve it.

6. Intellectual Property

All Learning Quests™ content including quests, graphics, videos, downloads, worksheets, and written materials, is the intellectual property of AKology LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, resell, or distribute any material without written permission.

You retain rights to original work submitted by your child, but by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and share it on our platform or promotional materials if you’ve made it public.

7. Community Conduct

We are a family-first platform. All content shared on our site, whether in comments, challenges, or game submissions, must be respectful, safe, and appropriate for all ages.

You may not post or share anything that is:
▪️ Inappropriate, obscene, hateful, or offensive
▪️ In violation of copyright or intellectual property laws
▪️ Personally identifying about a child or other user
▪️ Advertisements or solicitations

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that do not meet these standards.

8. Website Availability

We strive to maintain a secure and reliable platform, but access may occasionally be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen outages. We are not responsible for any loss incurred due to site unavailability.

9. Security & Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately. We are not responsible for activity on your account due to password sharing or misuse.

Our website may contain links to third-party platforms such as Koala Go, Stripe, PayPal, or social media. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of those external sites. Please review their terms separately.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States of America. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with U.S. legal jurisdiction.

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we do, we’ll update the “Effective Date” at the top. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
